The Music and Audio Retrieval Tools

Here is a subset of the MaART tools. Some served as tests or examples of an aspect of a library (but have proved very useful). Others are fuller applications which are aimed directly at fulfilling the goals of the MaART project. b2tm - Converts a binary matrix file to a text one (and vice versa)
cluster - Utility to calculate clusters in a set of features
collector - MaART file collection manager
condense - Produces a summary of a playlist
dat2bmp - Text to bitmap conversion
dup - Duplicate file checker
fastmap - Reduce the dimensionality of a set of features
midi2dat - Convert MIDI to a piano roll
midiclean - MIDI file cleaner / compressor
midicut - MIDI file cutter
mididb - MIDI Database for Content-Based Retrieval
midilen - MIDI file length analyser
midiprint - MIDI to text convertor
midiquantise - MIDI file quantiser
midistats - wc for midi
midisummary - Summarizes a MIDI file
miditext - MIDI text extractor
miditexture - MIDI texture generator
mpeg2wave - Convert mpeg audio to wave audio
printcons - Converts MIDI into melodic contours.
sim - Creates a similiarity matrix from one or two source matrix files
som - Utility to calculate a self-organizing map of a set of features
sonogram - Generate a sonogram of a wave file
wave2mfcc - Convert wave audio to MFCCs
wave2midi - Convert wave audio to MIDI
wavecopy - Extract a segment of a wav file
